હૈયું
ગમ છુપાવી, છલકાવે ખુશી હૈયું
કંઈ કેટલા રાઝ છુપાવે આ હૈયું.
શ્રાવણ ની ઝરમર ને પિયુ પરદેશ
મિલન ની ઝંખના છુપાવે આ હૈયું.
ધન દોલત ને અમીરી ચારેકોર,
છુપાવે હાય ગરીબની આ હૈયું.
જીંદગાની ની સફરમા સુખ ને દુઃખ,
પહોંચવા મુકામે જગવતું હામ આ હૈયું.
દીઠો ન પ્રભુ પણ માનવતા ઠેર ઠેર
દીપ એ શ્રધ્ધા નો પ્રગટાવતું આ હૈયું.

Dear Shaila,
Very good. But I know that hiding the sorrows and presenting a smiling face is Indian trait. The western way is not that way. You will find out this in time. Every one has to do his/her homework. What you will find I do not know but your observation that here everywhere we find humanity while that is not apparently true in India.But bear in mind that conditions in India are different. And behaviour is dependent on conditions.
